We are proud of our location at Hindsholmvej 80, where we combine the best of both worlds. You live in the middle of the beautiful nature of Funen, but at the same time it’s only 1500 meters to the charming center of Kerteminde. Here you’ll find everything your heart desires in terms of shops, restaurants and cultural experiences. This is beach camping on Funen at its very best.
Direct access to North Beach
When we say we’re close to the water, we mean it. From the campsite, it’s just a few steps down to the North Beach, which is known for its fine sand and clean bathing water. The beach is incredibly child-friendly, as the water deepens slowly, making it safe for families with children who want to enjoy the days with sunbathing and sandcastles.
For the early risers, there are plenty of opportunities for a dip in the sunrise, and in the evening the beach is the setting for pleasant walks in the sunset. Whether you’re into sunbathing, swimming or simply enjoying the view of the Great Belt, Nordstranden is an integral part of the experience with us.

At Kerteminde Camping we have space for everyone, whether you come with your own caravan, tent or prefer to rent a cabin. Our campsite is designed with a focus on coziness and functionality, and we place great emphasis on making it a great place for children, adults and seniors alike.
Camping with your own caravan or tent
For those who love the classic camping life, we offer great pitches where you can set up camp and enjoy the freedom. We have power connections available so you can easily power your fridge and coffee machine. We always encourage you to be considerate of the neighbors so that everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet – we have a quiet period from 23:00 to 07:00, so you’re guaranteed a good night’s sleep.

Cabin holidays – from budget to luxury
If you don’t have your own caravan or just want a little more comfort, we offer cabin rentals in several categories. It’s a popular solution for those who want the camping atmosphere, but with a permanent roof over their heads.
- Type A: Our largest cabins with private shower and toilet. There’s room for the whole family and you get all the comfort you need.
- Type B: A good mid-range cabin where you have a nice holiday setting close to the service buildings.
- Type C: Our simpler and more economical cabins, perfect for those who primarily use the cabin for overnight stays and live life outside.

Facilities and services
Our reception is open daily from 09:00 to 17:00, where we are ready to help you with questions, check-in or advice on excursions in the local area.

Take your dog on vacation
At Kerteminde Camping, dogs are part of the family, which is why they are welcome here. We know that many people appreciate being able to take their four-legged friend for a walk, especially when the surroundings invite you to go for long walks along the water or in the woods.
Dogs are welcome both at the campsite and in our cabins. To ensure a good experience for all guests, dogs must always be kept on a short leash on site and walked outside the area. Just remember to let us know when booking. Read more about camping with dogs at our campsite.
Experiences in and around Kerteminde
Although it may be tempting to just stay at the campsite and enjoy the beach, Kerteminde and the surrounding area offers a wealth of experiences. The town is an old market town with cobbled streets, cozy cafés and exciting museums such as the Johannes Larsen Museum and Fjord&Bælt.

Season and booking
Our season runs from late March to mid-October. This gives you the opportunity to experience Funen in the fresh colors of spring, the warm sun of summer and the beautiful glow of autumn. We’re open during the fall break (week 42), which is a great time to cozy up with hot chocolate after a walk in the wind.
We offer different price levels depending on the season (low, high and late season), so there are options for every budget. We often have special offers, for example for seniors or during holidays such as Easter and Whitsun.
